The liberal says – “With regard to moral progress, you are either with me in being part of the solution and, therefore, good, or against me in being part of the problem, an obstacle to progress and, therefore, evil.”
The conservative replies - “That’s fine, as I don’t believe in moral progress, I’ll be neither. I will remain undefined morally by you; perhaps a mystery to you.”
