Mirrored Accusations

I have noticed is that, in most arguments, by a process of chemical reduction, sooner or later the real issue emerges in the crucible and, more often than not, both sides are claiming the same thing about their cause. So, for example, the current furore involves both sides claiming they love Parliamentary sovereignty more than the other and the 'outrage' of prorogation is an outrage against it. Both sides can't be right and reality, as it shakes down, has a habit of exposing, eventually, which claim is true. Will those who consented to the gradual erosion of our Parliamentary and Judicial sovereignty, and are now fighting tooth and nail against restoring it, emerge as the true lovers of the sovereignty they claim so loudly is being compromised? The final truth is what they fear.
