Science versus Nature - Nature loses?

In the war between geographically and culturally-based conservatives (“populists”) and global liberal technocrats I fear that the technocrats have a huge advantage; the war was caused by and is conducted on a global, technocratic medium. The hope is that the arguments made undermine and neutralise that advantage.
