The Tail Wagging the Dog

The bizarre thing about trans weightlifters etc is that a tiny tail is wagging a huge dog in the most undemocratic way. We should start with the “norm” (in statistical and teleological terms) of what nature disposes as no one would even be here to argue this case if it didn’t. That norm has a perfect claim to set the field according to itself as the course that creates the *lowest* number of problems. We only follow where the tiny tail leads us because we are, ridiculously and probably insincerely, falling over ourselves to appear polite and compassionate. There *are* exceptions to the biological norm and that is sad and the difficulty for those people of what to do in sport as in other areas is also sad. Sometimes you just have to accept that there are lacrimae rerum without trying to manipulate the whole of reality into a ridiculous posture in order to solve a tiny minority of problems. All that will achieve is the creation of a mass of further problems for the majority.
