The Creation of Man

And God said let the waters bring forth abundantly the animals.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God created the higher animals including Man. And he decreed they would have in common, the need to breath air, to eat, drink, void their waste, sleep and reproduce as male and female.
And the evening and the morning were the second day.

And God made the animals including man, many and, thus, social.
And the evening and the morning were the third day.

And God began the work of endowing Man with a thin veneer of self-consciousness.
And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

And, as God completed the work of consciousness, because Man was social and conscious, there sprang immediately from within his being the sense of fairness and right and wrong towards and from his fellows.
And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

And, to help man, God explained and gave order to his innate sense of fairness and right and wrong.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the Seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Henceforth each man and woman was known by the quality of his or her moral nature.
